Family Style Dinner and Age Specific Programs |
- Dinner:
- Dinner @ 5:15 pm - Join fellow Columbian Families for fellowship around the table as we model family prayer and emphasis the importance of the family meal time. Our goal during this time is help families build intergenerational community. Advance tickets for Family Dinners are available. Click here to view the menus for these dinners.
- Newborn thru Preschool:
- Preschool My First Look (NurseryKs) is a unique approach to curriculum for churches, designed to give preschool children a first impression of their loving heavenly Father by helping the child master the teaching concept through the engagement of the five senses, using creative activities, leading experiential worship and connecting at home with the goal of helping a child by the age of five believe: God Made Me, God Loves Me, and Jesus wants to be My Friend Forever.
- Kindergarten thru 5th Grade:
- Grade School 252 Basics (Grades 1-5) is a unique approach to curriculum for churches, build around three Basic Truths: I need to make the wise choice, I can trust God no matter what, and I should treat others the way I want to be treated, so that every child could embrace what Jesus modeled in Luke 2:52. Each Basic Truth is amplified by a weekly key concept and systemically taught over a three-year track. The program teaches 150 Bible Stories and is based on a Core Virtue and Memory Verse as the framework for each month. Each Night begins in the child's classroom before moving into experiential worship with a live band and large group teaching followed by small group discipleship.
- Middle School and High School Students:
- Middle School (Grades 6-8) and High School (Grades 9-12 ) Students XP3 (Unplugged for Middle School & Beyond the Edge for High School) is about experiencing three things
.WONDER DISCOVERY PASSION! This series is created to strategically use these elements so that students move beyond the information about God to an actual experience with Him one that incites wonder, discovery and passion. Our goal is to incite wonder in the heart of every student in such a way that compels him or her to discover who they are and their passion for influencing others. Each Night begins with experiential worship with a live band followed by small group discipleship and large group teaching.
- Adults:
- Adults - All Ages and Family Make up!
Join Dr. Jim Baucom and his wife Debbie as they lead adults to deal with real family issues we face each day. They will base their teaching on three books they have found to be extremely helpful, For Women Only, For Men Only, and For Parents Only. As well as teaching, they plan to interview real live parents and married couples from within our Columbia Family, so that we can learn from each other. Following their master teaching time, adults will be invited to join tables with other adults who share life with them, to delve more deeply and specifically into issues they face in their own lives.
